Our first Alnico 2 Tele set offers blues and jazz players warm, rich trebles and superb sustain, whilst still maintaining enough tele-twang on the bridge pickup to keep up with country licks. This is our lowest output telecaster set, and lets your guitar ring! In particular, this set works great with a snappier maple fingerboard telecaster, controlling harsh trebles and overly boomy bass notes.
All bridge pickups come with our modified vintage stagger, and are available in right and left-handed models.
Installing this set with a four way switch? We are happy to install a separate ground wire for the neck – just check the box above the “Add to Cart” button above. This will give you three wires – a coil start (yellow), a coil finish (black) and a ground wire (black wire from cover tab).

Mr. M –
This is the 5th lot of Toneriders I’ve bought. I’ve been very happy with all of them.
I’ve had 3 sets of tele pups, a set of Strat pups and some humbuckers. They have
all been superb. Why would I want to pay more for other name brands, when I can
get Toneriders.
Telephonic –
Great toneriders, 2nd set installed in my Fenders. Lower output with more tone, less breakup through valve amp until one turns up the gain. More sustain on clean settings and can be set high,- closer to the strings without that magnetic pull warbling sound occurring.
Nathaniel Apostol –
I’ve used Seymour Duncan pickups before this but honestly, I don’t think I’ll pay that much again. The tone on these is just so good it’s unbelievable.
Phil Nozama –
I purchased an inexpensive telecaster copy from a secondhand shop and thought of how I could improve the tone of it. These Tonerider alnico blues pickups have transformed the sound of the telecaster and made the guitar a joy to play. A brilliant investment and a lot cheaper than an upmarket instrument. If you love the playing characteristics of your cheaper guitar but don’t like the compromised tone, fit these and those bluesy licks will inspire you to reach new heights.
