Purchased a set of these last year wow…amazing sweet pickups much better than other expensive brands i have used before…sweet tone of them not overly bassy tho nice balance,i have them in a custom fender jazz with an east active preamp stunning tone well reccomended .

This is really sensational pickup – for the money you can’t get anything better than this one. It is easily as good as most of the well known and established brands like Fender, Seymour Duncan etc. Very nice, vintage ,,woody,, sound – roll back trebles a bit and you get that sweet Jaco sound. I have installed a pair of Tonerider TRJ 1 pickups in my Vintage Fretless Jazz Bass and it’s a match made in heaven ! I’m a very happy customer!

I noticed your new pickup combinations for guitar (HSS Strat, Nashville Tele). You should create a new set for the PJ bass that includes a Precision pickup and a Jazz bridge pickup.
Anyway, love your products – I have the Hot Tele and Alnico II Humbucker pickups in my guitars. Love the tone!

Chinese manufactured pu are not really appealing to me, but after reading all the great reviews I decided to give tonerider pu’s a chance. Just installed the jazz-plus neck pu in my squier standard jazz bass. Very nice rich tones indeed, big upgrade from the original pu. In combination with a 0.68 tone cap it gives me a lovely deep reggae sound. I only use the neck pu so I didn’t bother to install a bridge pu, but for the price maybe I should have. Excellent vallue for money.
