From low-down reggae riffs to growling rock, our Precision Plus pickup is designed for the bassist who needs maximum tonal variety just by altering their pick attack. Wound just a hair hotter than vintage P-Bass pickups, the Precision Plus use specially treated magnets that maximise the tonal colours available.
Wound on vulcanised fibreboard just like the originals, you’ll love the look and feel of these pickups. Designed to be easily installed on any USA or Mexican instrument they also fit the majority of import P-bass style guitars.

Would definitely recommend these Bass pickups.
I couldn’t find many reviews but when on the basis that my guitar tech recommended them and the guitar ones had good reviews. I am using them this morning, they are much louder with a much better sound. I did have to get the body of the guitar shielded due to the background noise but that is just a reflection of the power in these pickups.
Would buy again quite happily

I was rebuilding an old 80s Sunn p-bass and took a punt on these. I have to say I’m very impressed. Great vintage bass sounds to be had with flats and enough push for some good post punk grind with roundwound. Very responsive to string choice and picking style. Definitely worth the money and more.

Cheap bass given new pots and needed a good spilt pup without breaking the bank. To my surprise these were substantially better than I was expecting. Good low end and no tinny highs. Easily compressed and equalized. Great for DI recording. Highly recommend.

There pretty good, way better than the stock pickups in my cheap bass with a good range and volume. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is that even though they are good (very good at this price point) they are still lacking compared to some others which would have cost £20 more but not by much. So for a budget build on my cheap bass I bought second hand for £30 they are brilliant, would I fit them to my good bass, no I would spend a little more.

Fitted to a Yamaha rbx170 this pickup doesn’t make it sound just like my MiM standard P bass but it’s so much closer than the standard pick up will ever be. I honestly can’t find a bad point with this pickup for the price and would highly recommend it as a replacement for anything other than the high end bass guitars standard issue pick ups.

Completely transformed an old Squire bass (that was given to me for free). The stock pickups were underwhelming. The Toneriders are a huge improvement. Bags more punch and “grunt”. As good, if not better than more mainstream bramds that are 2 or 3 times the price.
I’d definitely recommend these as an upgrade for stock pickups.

Awesome upgrade…my P has just got a huge tonal increase. I’m a blues man and these have given the tone I was looking for. Superb VFM.

Hi, I am building p basses as a hobby and these are cheap, but very good pickups. The latest one reads 10.94k and its the same sound you would expect with US62 precision bass reissue . Dont spend too much, when you can buy these nice pickups with a great tone and ideal output.

Just upgraded the Pickup in my Yamaha rbx-260, the precision plus is just perfect. Fantastic response, an absolute no-brainer bargain. Any budget p bass could benefit from this pickup.

I was never happy with the pickups in my Squier P bass and someone recommended these. I didn’t expect much for £35 but they’re far better than expected. Far more punch than the original pickups, much hotter and more clarity. I tune down to drop A# and these are the best pickups I’ve tried in terms of clarity at these low frequencies, other pickups just turn to mush.

Excellent, well rounded pickup. Goes from punchy to so low without getting muddy, cuts through the mix very nicely. I will definitely be putting these in my backup bass too.

I bought these Precision pickups after reading great reviews and I definitely agree. The sound is rich and lively, good punch and clarity with nice balance eq wise, the mids are prominent and will stand out in a busy mix but not overwhelming, they also take EQ and drive from amps and pedals very musically. The dynamic response is large, these are quite sensitive to the plucking hand from soft to digging in. Also they are very well made, top quality soldering job, nice cloth wire and very tidy and solid overall.
My only minor complaint is they came with black screws which is a little off for an otherwise “vintage correct” pickup, but it’s no big deal really. Also included nice dense foam and good wiring instructions in case you need them.
Overall I think these are hands down the best you can get for 50€ shipped, the value for the modest price is outstanding. I’ll definitely consider trying other models too

I own a Warmoth P-bass that has of Tone Rider pick-up, and it is a blast to play! It has wonderful breakup at full volume, along with a deep, textured tone that really brings out some serious MOJO. Crack the volume knob back a hair, and it plays super-clean. Lighten your right hand technique, and it plays super clean.
But turn that volume to Ten, lay into some heavy riffing, and Sweet Baby Cheebus does it come alive. Thru an all-tube Ampeg PF50 with the Master on 10…… After 40 yrs playing bass, I giggled out loud after about 30 seconds of play-time. The BEST ROCK TONE EVER
Very impressed,. Surpasses the EMG GZR as my new Fave P-bass pickup
