P90 TONE WORTH FIGHTING FOR.
A huge number of guitars come equipped with standard humbuckers, but the fun doesn’t have to stop there. Using a humbucker-sized P90 can offer a wider, more open sound, and open up new musical avenues.
Powered by twin Alnico 2 bar magnets, and with a strong bass and crisp highs, the Rebel 90 finds the sweet spot between single coil and humbucker tonalities.

Great pickup and fantastic service

I installed the Rebel 90 pick up in my Tokia Les Paul more out of curiosity and it is brilliant. I was looking for a more raw and punk sound and I think I have it. If it’s good enough for Captain Sensible then it’s good enough for me. Can’t fault the product or the service.
Cheers

The Tonerider Rebel 90 sounds amazing, It’s made a huge difference to the tone of my guitar and the sustain is awesome. I’d heard good things about this brand and I’ve not been disappointed, great bit of kit for the price!
Allan Johnston –
The bridge pick up I purchased is exceptional and exactly what I was looking for. Bright, articulate and with plenty of bite.
Your pricing with free delivery matched Amazon too, so well done on staying competitive.

I put these pick ups in my Gretsch Electromatic and what a difference. Excellant pick ups. Very easy to fit.
Max Ayre –
superb clarity of tone, can highly recommend it.
Anto –
I have these in my PRS custom 22. The guitar sings with these pickups.
Andrew Carlberg –
Awesome pickup! Got one of these for the neck position of my Firefly les paul copy. Nails that p90 tone I was looking for at a fraction of what I would have paid for any of the more well known brands. Will definitely consider Tonerider in the future for other projects and I highly recommend these. Can’t beat them for the price.

I have a 60″s tribute SG that came with double coils but I like the spank of P90’s, just more clarity to suit my liking. I have Seymour Duncan Phat Cats in another SG I own and the Tonerider pups are really better sounding and more responsive than the Phat Cats (and I like them as well). I was so impressed, I have ordered a set of the Blues 60’s pups for my Stratocater. I’ll let you know how those turn out – expecting good things to come. Great tone – great product!

Off the back of a Brett Kingman clip from years ago I decided to add a pair of the Rebel p90s to my Les Paul, The Paul II ground up rebuild and oh my word I am happy I did! I love p90s and these wonderful pickups which have greatly exceeded my expectations. The neck provides a lovely warmth and broad frequency range with some p90 bite which results in well articulated cleaner tones and the bridge, well, it does what you’d hope from any bridge p90 and then some. Excellent pickups which I will almost certainly add to my next semi-hollow build.

Installed the Rebel P90s in my 2008 PRS SE Singlecut. That had stock PRS humbuckes, not great pickups. They completely transformed the guitar into a kickbutt Ax. I love P90s and the Tone Rider Rebels are outstanding. They are just as good or better. Then the Seymour Duncan Phat Cat P90s I installed in my 2020 PRS SE Standard 24 (which is also a kickbutt Ax now). That cost twice as much as the TR Rebels. So if you want a really good set of humbucker style P90s. Choose a set of Tone Rider Rebel P90s.

These are great pickups. the humbucker size makes the Rebel P90 really versatile. They are responsive and sound great with a bit of drive.

I am very pleased with these. I recently purchased a cheap and cheerful Harley Benton Fusion-T. Its a great guitar – Stainless steel frets and locking tunes etc. but the pickups didn’t click with me. I bought the Rebel 90 pickups and now it really does sound and respond like a different guitar. recommended!!

I installed a Rebel 90 set in my new Ibanez Gio (wired with a 3 way switch, 2 volume pots and no tone) WOW I’m impressed. I have several Dimarzio and Seymour Duncan and these Tonerider have nothing to envy to more expensive pickups. I am now thinking of installing a set of vintage 90s in my PRS single cut soapbar. Have fun!!

Installed the Rebel 90’s into my EPI LP standard and wow. Crunchy, clean, precise, as a P90 should be. I have P90’s in my Godin LG90 and love the sound. These humbucker sized 90’s are equally distinct. I honestly couldn’t be more impressed. Already have Tonerider Alnico IV’s for another project. Tonerider has my loyalty from this moment onwards. Cheers

I just installed a set of TONERIDER Rebel 90s in a Jay Turser 12-string. The guitar was a bargain buy from a local shop. The original humbuckers sounded horrible, but the price was so good I felt the guitar might have some potential to shine with a pick-up upgrade.
What a transformation! The Rebel 90s probably increased the value of the guitar by an order of magnitude. Thank you!

I have one on an Epiphone LP Jr with upgraded pots and an Orange Drop cap and love it. Makes it sound like a much more expensive guitar.

Had the neck version of this pickup spare after a previous swap and a Humbucker equipped Telecaster project needing electronics.
Decided to see how this 8.4k neck wind would sound in the bridge position (maple neck, alder body, fixed 6 saddle bridge)…
Oh my goodness it is incredible. It takes overdrive and breaks up perfectly, retaining dynamics and being especially sensitive to pick attack, slight roll off to edge of breakup for strong rythmn tones and then around 5/6 volume, a chimy and lively clean tone. (This is running through a single channel plexi style amp)
The cherry on top is utilizing the tone knob, rolling this off warms up the sound for a smooth lead tone.
Sounds too good to be true? Try it.

Purchased a set for a mod . Transformed a Made in Korea Fender Telecaster into a nice playing Tele . New Hipshot locking tuners , new Bourns pots , GunStreet.Co Tele 4 Way Control Plate w/ Green Volume Bleed wiring . I accidentally purchased this set from a U.S. distributor and needed a ground wire for the neck pickup for the 4 way selector and the people at Tonerider reached out to me and sent me a replacement neck pickup ! That is GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE !

I purchased the Rebel 90 to replace an old SD59 neck humbucker that was fitted to one of my telecasters: the sound has improved in every possible way. I didn’t think such a simple change could do so much for the sound. I paired the Rebel 90 with a Hot Classic on the bridge, completely renovating a guitar that had been sitting still for years. Initially I had a problem about matching the phase between the two, but Tonerider customer service sent me a new RWRP pickup compared to the R90, allowing me to complete the project. I can only recommend anyone to rely on this company.
