mounted on basswood body guitar with maple and rosewood neck. After five different sets of pickups, this is by far the best, I’ve been looking for this sound for years.

Tone wise these pickups sound great. Used to upgrade stock pickups in an old yamaha pacifica.
Humbucker splits nicely with almost no loss of volume. This is very impressive and I noticed this is the case with most of the tonerider humbuckers I tried.
Quality wise and this is the same with most tonerider humbuckers that I have installed, the wires can be a bit brittle, so extra care is needed when soldering or stripping the wire. Minor thing really, but can became a bit of an inconvenience.

Bought a HSS Overwound set to replace some Aria Pro II pickups on a hybrid Tele. The difference was staggering. Much warmer, greater depth, and good cut through and clarity on the singles, even with a lot of gain, and playing chords. Compare favourably with original Gibson and Fender pickups, and much cheaper than the PRS Dragon and Radioshop pickups on my other guitars. Lots of help from Andrew. A word of warning. The conductors are very brittle, so take care when stripping and wrangling, as they snap easily. That said, my soldering is a dogs dinner, yet I managed to do it myself. If you’re looking for quality at an affordable price I can’t recommend any better than Tonerider!
