Got an "Appetite" for rock, punk, blues and more? Look no further than the Alnico 2 Plus neck and bridge humbucker set from Tonerider. Combining mid-range bark and treble bite, this set crosses the line from vintage warmth to searing rock!
Here's the recipe: We took two of our quarter inch vintage coil height bobbins, overwound them with vintage gauge wire, and combined them with a custom made rough cast Alnico 2 bar magnet charged to the max. We finish the process by wax potting each pickup after assembly, to ensure they can be used in high volume, high gain situations.
At Tonerider we pride ourselves on our wide range of standard colours, covers and finishes: Alnico 2 Plus humbuckers are available with black, white, zebra, reverse zebra and double cream* bobbins, and our nickel-silver covers come in gold, nickel, and our "best-in-class" lightly aged nickel finishes.
Available individually or as a set. Four conductor wiring as standard on all models. Wax Potted. Screws (#3/48) and Springs Provided.
