Full Description

Our first Alnico 2 Tele set offers blues and jazz players warm, rich trebles and superb sustain, whilst still maintaining enough tele-twang on the bridge pickup to keep up with country licks.

The Alnico rod pole pieces on the bridge pickup incorporate Tonerider's modified stagger, with a higher third and fourth string polepieces to optimise string-string balance.

The neck pickup features our in-house Nickel-Silver cover for tonal transparency, and we include wood screws for direct mounting to the body, and two #4/40 pan head screws for use when mounting the pickup to a pickguard.

Each pickup is fully wax potted to reduce any microphonic feedback, and comes supplied with screws, latex height adjustment tubing and an installation guide.

Best pickups for my style of music

I LOVE them! Have put them in all my 15+ Telecasters (Squier CV, Player II Mod, Performer, Partscaster, Affinity,… you name it.
I prefer them to all other pickups so far, even the more expensive original Fender ones…
They just fit my style of music (Blues - Rock) and give me consistent tone with those nice, tiny variations due to type of wood, neck, bridge,… and at a very reasonable price…

Great pickups

The Alnico 2 Blues pickups were the answer to taking away the extreme brightness of a maple neck. These pickups provide a great range of sound

Great bridge pickup that retains the classic tele twang with a little added warmth.

Brilliant

Boutique quality

I removed a lollar 52 neck pickup and creamery 51 bridge pickup and put these in instead. Old pickups were great but I needed money so thought I'd downgrade. To my surprise, these pickups sound 95% of the way there. They don't even sound worse, just different. Don't buy hand wound boutique pickups unless you're really tone obsessed, get these and you're golden

pleasantly surprised

I am pleasantly surprised with sweetness, clarity and dynamics. Nicely works with overdrive pedals. I wonder if Alnico 2 Blues for Strat has the same tonality and would make a great Tele and Strat pair. Will figure out soon. :)
