Great in my strat

I've never had an hss strat so tried these in the bridge of one of mine. Gives the heat and tone I want in live situations for a strat bridge. It's really good. May be too hot for some but I like the sizzle.

The exact tone I was looking for! My PRS SE DGT is perfect now!

Installed in my Strat and it has brought it life. Great Humbucker and single coil tones.

Fantastic upgrade

As a beginner guitarist, I bought a Yamaha Pacifica 012. Which allowed me to learn the basics. However, after a while I became less and less satisfied with the sound quality. It just wasn't up to the task anymore. So I changed the stock humbucker to a Tonerider Birmingham. It revitalized the guitar changing the sound from cold and metallic to warm and full. I also changed the capacitor to a 47nF styroflex, which is a match made in heaven. It will never be the best guitar in the world. However, with this upgrade, it has been given a new lease of life and will help me continue my guitar journey. All of that without breaking the bank.

Finally a coil split that actually... sounds like a single coil!

I replaced the muddy bridge humbucker in a Fender blacktop strat with the Birmingham, and this thing CUTS. It's transformed a once muddy and uninspired sounding guitar into a killer instrument, and it's since become my go-to studio guitar, ending up being reached for 95% of the time on the last record we made, even over a US Deluxe Strat & Tele. In fact, I have this wired so that the single coil is its default bridge position, with the humbucker on the pull switch (which honestly, I barely ever use, I love that single coil bite so much). I also have the Rebel 90 in the neck, which I love.
Folks ask me how I get that cutting, almost telecaster-esque 'crispy chicken' sound out of a humbucker loaded strat... and well... this is my secret.
I'd attach a lovely photo of me playing this on a huge stage, but alas I play bass in the live show, so I hope a photo of my guitar with my needy dog/sentient mop (grumbling at me because it's past his bedtime) will suffice.
