The City Limits set uses A5 magnets with our "Modified Vintage Stagger" allowing for great string to string balance on a wide range of instruments.
Each pickup is fully wax potted to reduce any microphonic feedback, and comes supplied with screws, latex height adjustment tubing and an installation guide.

First attempt upgrading my own guitar and learning how to solder, this was super easy to replace an existing pick up set 😊I removed the ceramic's that came with the mexican standard, they were to hot and compressed of a sound for my liking.
The 'City limits' are sitting between a vintage and modern set of fatter strat pickups. Having the pickups sit a bit lower is the sweet spot for me. The bass and treble sound really great, they also seem very responsive. As some others have said the bridge can do with the bridge tone mod just to dial down the treble a tad sometimes. I also put some aged white pick up covers on them and i'm really in love with this guitar now. since installing giving them a real run for the money. handles many genres from blues, funk to harder rock.
Sound amazing in a range of amps. Got that classic strat sparkle
The Tonerider City Limits are very good 60s Fat Strat pickups. Sound like SRV pickups. I like them so much that I bought a second set!
I bought City Limits, to replace some Alnico 5 I had installed in my guitar which I thought sounded good, but I wanted a more authentic Strat sound. To my ears thes City Limits give me the sustain and bell like resonance I wanted.
