Fantastic bass PU

Gigged in indoor and outdoor venues, everything from slap to reggae, no issues at all and it sounds great.

Great sound for the price

I'm from portugal, and the item arrived without problems. Because of the price I wasn't expecting much, but they are really really great! Better than some squier from factory, I sure recomend these pickups!

Classic P from Tonerider: Great tone, great price

Bought a P bass with split P Dimazio pickups. They were too powerful for my tastes, distorting at low volumes. Replaced them with Tonerider Classic Ps and now have the vintage P bass tone one buys a P bass for. Managed to sell the Dimazio’s for more than the cost of the Tonerider Classic P’s so an extra bonus. Highly recommend if you are after the vintage P bass tone. You don’t need to spend the extra money.

TRP1 replacement for MIM 2006 PBass

I did not like the tone or the frequency range of the stock Fender pickup in my 2006 MIM Fender P Bass. After researching DiMarzio and Seymour Duncan pickups I came across Tone Rider pickups. I disliked the stock ceramic overwound pickup and like the tone I had with a '73 Fender P bass. So I looked for a classic sounding pickup with a classic output and frequency range. The TRP1 fit bill, the bass has come alive. The highs are smooth and not harsh, the Mids are tame and the lows are stout but not overly deep. This pickup also opens the pots ups and the bass is more expressive. I have a .1nf cap and the tone pot can get deep and clear. Overall this is an incredible upgrade at a great price. If you want a great sound that fit in a mix with a bit of character this is a great option. I rivals my old "73 Fender P Bass but adds sweet highs that are unique to this pickup.
