G.H.

Firepower set is AMAZING! I'm absolutely blown away by these pickups. I was expecting typical one-trick pony, loud metal pickups but these cover a lot of ground.

What I love about the set is the tightness and the fast response in the low register, as well as how creamy, rich, and dynamic they can get up high for leads. In my experience, those qualities are exclusive to two different types of pickups, so...amazing, really!

In a studio environment, the bridge pickup makes a lot of sense as a go-to recording pickup for any genre with moderate or high gain. It's surprisingly dynamic, the 2K-5K range is extremely smooth, and it's bold enough to sit well in any mix. I wanna switch this one over to my main recording guitar and try it out on a couple of upcoming sessions (lighter rock and pop) and see how versatile it really is.
