Great humbucker, so powerful!
I instal it in my Slammer Explorer.

I was contemplating buying these pickups because they have very high output, and I initially thought they would only be suitable for metal. However, they can handle everything, from the cleanest tones to the dirtiest. Funk, blues, rock, metal, and jazz. with the right EQ tweaking, they can do it all. They can move from soft, smooth jazz to the most extreme form of metal while delivering excellent harmonics.

The build quality is outstanding. I installed them in my Squier alongside a middle City Limits pickup and made several modifications:

1. Series parallel switching for both the bridge and neck humbuckers
2. Coil splitting for both the bridge and neck humbuckers
3. An out of phase switch for positions 2 and 4

The result is perfect! the sound, the tightness, the crispness, and absolutely zero noise. They are as quiet as air.

Recently installed the Firepower set in one of my guitars and OMG! They're loud, crisp and full! I love them! These will be my go-to pickup upgrades from now on. Definitely best for metal players, though.
