The Generator set delivers a high output Alnico 5 punch for rock and metal styles. A full-blooded, harmonically rich neck pickup delivers rock and blues tones with power to spare, while the high-output bridge pickup can take you from bluesy rock to screaming solos. Rolling off the volume knob reveals great, useable, clean tones.
All Generator models are fully wax potted to avoid microphonic feedback, and come with supplied with #3/48 screws, springs and an installation guide.
Available individually or as a set. Four conductor wiring as standard on all models.

I recently installed the generator as a neck pickup on my Telecaster and I love it! Sounds great clean, with overdrive, and with distortion. Very satisfied!
The generator is a nice, warm hot humbucker. I bought it to put into a strat clone and it's transformed the guitar. absolutely beautiful through distortion pedals, great crunch and nice and punchy. good for anybody looking to play some punk rock, and definitely great for heavy stuff. is also packaged well and came quickly despite being sent to Australia from England.
Tone Rider describe the neck as "full-blooded, harmonically rich" but I've only got the bridge and the exact same can be said. It's big, creamy, and blooming. I've got it loaded into a C-standard guitar used for Doom and Heavy Stoner. It's checking all the right boxes by pushing a load of gain into my dirt pedals while remaining clear with a whack of mid-range. It replaced a Phat Kat which I was finding too snappy and harsh. It's not without a p90 esque growl but with thick lows, rolled off highs and of course, no hum!

Love the bridge pickup. Bought quite a few now and it's my go to for single humbucker Strat upgrades. Wired up with a single volume and kill switch, it's an absolute beast. Currently using them in my function band. It's a like Dimarzio Tone Zone, but with extra clarity / slightly brighter, which is perfect for me.
