Full Description

The Generator set delivers a high output Alnico 5 punch for rock and metal styles. A full-bodied, harmonically rich neck pickup delivers rock and blues tones with power to spare, while the high-output bridge pickup can take you from bluesy rock to screaming solos. Rolling off the volume knob reveals great, useable, clean tones.

All Generator models are fully wax potted to avoid microphonic feedback, and come supplied with #3/48 screws, springs and an installation guide.

Available individually or as a set.  Four conductor wiring as standard on all models.

My new go-to mic

Got one of these in a used guitar first and totally fell for them, immediately ordered another one. Will order more shortly. I've been using Gibson standard 498t's a lot since the 90s and like them much, but they're a bit harsh and stiff into modern digital gear - so I've been modding them with C8 magnets trying to get a more pleasant sound and it has worked. Also used JBs often but always something missing with them, so I've been looking for new pickups for a good while. But no more need - the Generators will henceforth to to every guitar I get. Just need to pick a neck as well to go with it. These have a great clarity, full chords ring notes out even with distortion, much like the Gibsons, BUT they also have a really pleasant warmth to them without sacrificing the scream. Contemplating selling my old pups and just ordering a whole bunch of these at once, these are so good and I can't believe the price!!!

I’ve been wanting to try Tonerider pickups for a while, I’m glad I did. The Generator packs that grunt and power that is really versatile.

Same tone, quality and vibe like Seymour Duncan JB, in a fraction of a cost!

Since I came across with Tonerider pickups, I do not even consider going back to popular and expensive PU brands like Seymour Duncan or Dimarzio. Keep you money, and get Tonerider pickups. You will thank me later 😁
