The Hot 90s are overwound, and powered by a pair of cast Alnico 5 bar magnets. With more attack and a more sizzling, harmonically rich bass than most P90s, this set is perfect for the hard blues and rock oriented P90 fan.
The neck pickup is RWRP for noise-cancelling operation with the bridge pickup in parallel positions.
Vintage correct CAB covers now on all models.
Screws and foam supplied for installation.

Fantastic P90 pickup. Threw one in the neck to pair with a Tonerider Hot Classic Tele Bridge. I can't recommend this setup enough. I might have to look at doing a custom stacked Hot P90s in the future.

These pickups are beautifully characterful. Roll back the volume knob and they clean up so nicely but still have texture to them. Turn the volume knob up a little more and they complement the edge of breakup amp sound really well. Then up more for 80s AC/DC. All the way gets you fuzzy Tony Iommi Paranoid sounds. The two pickups work well together too, the neck is beautifully warm and my go to for clean tones and the bridge really cooks, retaining clarity when pushing the amp or paired with pedals.
I bought the Vintage 90 neck pickup together with a Hot 90 for the bridge, to replace the stock pickups in a TV yellow Les Paul Special. I am just blown away how good this sounds! Thick and warm but with exactly the right amount of punch at the same time. Can’t put the guitar down, just need to hear those tones all day… If you are looking for a replacement of P90s, don’t hesitate, go and try these. You won‘t find more bang for your buck somewhere else. Besides, Tonerider ships super fast, and the whole unboxing experience etc. is just awesome. Ordered a pair of Tele pickups as well and they sound also amazing! Big Tonerider fan!!
