Our most popular pickup set of all time, this telecaster set features a higher wind on Alnico 3 magnets, scatterwound for maximum tone!

The bridge pickup is wound on a black fibreboard bobbin and wrapped with black string, and a copper-plated ferrous baseplate. All Hot Classics are now made with flat magnet polepieces (no stagger) on the bridge pickup for a early 50s correct look.

The neck pickup features our in-house Nickel-Silver cover for tonal transparency, and we include wood screws for direct mounting to the body, and two #4/40 pan head screws for use when mounting the pickup to a pickguard.

Each pickup is fully wax potted to reduce any microphonic feedback, and comes supplied with screws, latex height adjustment tubing and an installation guide.

Ive had the TonRider Hot Classics in my budget Tele for several weeks now, using the OEM Cap and pots.The results after some tweaking have improved the instruments tone a great deal. They have a lot more "punch" and note separation and clarity is excellent. Love these pickups and recommend them as a god choice for anyone considering a pickup upgrade.

Tonerider is amazing, and so are these pickups.

This company is just great - not only their pickups are top notch quality and a great upgrade for the price, but their support and customer service is unparalled - I had some issues with the local post office with my order and Tonerider's support was lightning fast and handled everything so kindly and wonderfully!

About the Hot Classics set: the neck lipstick pickup is so smooth and creamy and yet it packs a punch, lead tones are great. Bridge brings clarity without too much twang. And you can pretty much get it all up to your tastes with a little post-EQ. Build quality is fantastic. Big recommend overall!

Can't go wrong

Super fast delivery, great pickup. What more could anyone ask for. The price point is barely believable for the quality of the product. I also really appreciate the easy option for a 3rd ground wire for the metal cover. I once murdered a perfectly good tele neck pickup attempting this mod so its brilliant to receive one with no modifications needed.
