Full Description

The Pure Vintage set from Tonerider is the perfect upgrade for any player looking for that warm, vintage Stratocaster sound.

Never harsh, full of chime and equally at home with clean or dirty amps, this is the set that defined the Tonerider approach to pickup making more than 20 years ago. Wound with heavy AWG42 wire and scatterwound to mimic the "Holy Grail" of single coil guitar tones - the late 50s strat.

The Pure Vintage set uses rod magnets with our "Modified Vintage Stagger" allowing for great string to string balance on a wide range of instruments.

Each pickup is fully wax potted to reduce any microphonic feedback, and comes supplied with screws, latex height adjustment tubing and an installation guide.

definitely an upgrade

replaced my old fenix strat pick-ups with pure vintage, clear high tones and nice low tones. And as a bonus, they were the only ones i found with left hand orientation, that alone deserves a 5 star review ; )

Excellent Pickups

I bought these pure vintage Tonerider Pickups as I wanted the vintage Stratocaster sound. These Pickups provide exactly that. Over many years of playing I have had many different Pickups from so called boutique makers and these Tonerider Pickups are at least as good as any in my opinion. Buy them, you won't be disappointed.

Best Bang For Your Buck

I’ve purchased two sets of tone rider pick ups one for A Squire Strat and Squire Tele. The difference was like night and day. Quality construction. Great sound.
