The neck pickup is smooth and sustainful – perfect for everything from jazz to distortion saturated rock. The bridge pickup is a super-charged vintage PAF, offering power and dynamics with a clear top end.
All Rocksong pickups are fully wax potted to avoid microphonic feedback, and come supplied with #3/48 screws, springs and an installation guide.
Available individually or as a set. Four conductor wiring as standard on all models.

I installed this set on a hollow body guitar and it sounds amazing.
Perfect for tones between classic blues and hard rock.
This set went to replace the probuckers in an2021 epiphone sg. The epi pickups were good, but not great. These are great and the difference is there, especially distorted. Feels like a dampening cloth was removed from the amp. The bridge really has balls and it’s well balanced with the neck. No difference in output. They clear very nicely rolling off the volume. The bridge bites without being too hot, too loud or too weak. It’s just in the sweet spot. It’s angry, but not harsh. A very versatile set, they can cover everything from jazz to heavy metal cutting well in the mix. Maybe they’re not the best fit for more extreme metal, but that’s not what they’re designed for and still, they can hold up to megadeth territory. The sg went from a passable guitar to an addictive one.
They’re on par in my taste with an sd59 set I have in another guitar. Less mid scooped, a bit more aggressive. I’m really impressed by the bridge pickup anyway. It also splits very well.
I also have a Birmingham set by tonerider, which are really nice too, but I prefer this one because it’s a little warmer and more of a middle ground between a paf and a hotter pickup. That’s just personal taste.
I think of this set like a paf on steroids. This is a great upgrade over the stock epi, if you’re in doubt go for it. They won’t make you a better player, but they will make you a better guitar!
I've been longing for an HSS Strat that is as versatile as possible. I took a chance on the Rocksong for the bridge position and am not disappointed. It has the clarity of a PAF with good definition and dynamic response. Hit it hard and it snarls and bites like a tiger. Roll off the tone a bit and it becomes sweet and soulful. Just perfect!
It plays very well with the City Limits Single Coils in the Middle and Neck positions too. I don't even need to split the humbucker to get that Sultan Sound in position 4.
The sustain jumped by at least a mile and the output allows me to go from Classic Rock to Metal and all points in between while saving 50% of the cost.
