This set combines neck and middle Alnico 2 Blues Strat pickups with our best-selling Alnico 2 Classic bridge humbucker, with wider F-spacing.

Perfect for a warm, bluesy Strat sound but still with a classic PAF bite in the bridge.

Imperial sized height adjustment screws and springs included. 

All pickups in this set are wax potted to avoid microphone feedback.

Perfect sound

I bought the HSS AL II for a new project but then changed it into an SSS set of Vintage AL II for a replacement in a Sire S7. This was a good move😎

Brought my Strat to life!!

I never did like the pickups in my Strat, so I purchased the Alnico 2 HSS set. I was blown away. They sound so clean, but they can really rock when pushed. I haven’t had a bad pickup from ToneRider yet.

Just So so

The sss set we purchased from you sounds great (A2 blues). Neck middle #4 position.
Same position on HSS set does not sound very close. I was under the impression that the single coil PUP's are supposed to be the same for both sets but they sound completely different. I am considering changing out the HSS for SSS safari A3 magnets, I just installed a set of those Safari's in another strat I own and like them the best, FYI.

Suono Caldo ed equilibrato

Ho acquistato questo set di pickup per installarli su una Stratocaster Messicana che aveva dei pickup un po' anonimi secondo il mio gusto. Con questi pickup ho ottenuto un suono equilibrato, caldo, ottimo per il blues e il Classic Rock. L' Humbucker al ponte di da quella spinta giusta senza esagerare.

Amazing sounding pickups for a price that's almost to good to be true

I swapped the stock pickups of an Ibanez Quest model (HSS) for a set of Tonerider (Alnico 2 HSS) because I didn't really like the stock pickups. And -oh boy- what a difference! All of a sudden there's clarity, punch and a truly versatile amount of warm and expressive sounds without (!) any hum or other weird stuff. Combined with the Ibanez Dyna-MIX9 circuit I now have a versatile lil' travel guitar that is ready for anything. Highly, HIGHLY recommended.
