Vintage 90

Put these in a Fender American Pro II and can’t stop playing it. That’s when you know pickups are great

Very nicely sounding and barking pickups. I installed them on my DIY kit with Japanese made pots from Goldo (500 k), 22 nf TAD orange capacitor, switchcraft toggle switch and output jack: the sound is just fantastic!! I still need to get used on how to set the pole pieces as they don’t rise up like on humbuckers. With wiring diagram downloaded on their website you can’t go wrong.

I have a telecaster armed with a P90 which is great. I wanted something interesting and equivalent so stuck a Tonerider into a 1963 Futurama which was missing its original pups. Punchy, even and the right amount of grit. Early days but the right choice 🙂

The original '60's bridge P90 in my Melody Maker recently went microphonic and needing a replacement I immediately thought Tonerider as I have a set of Vintage Plus pickups in my Tele and absolutely love them. As expected, the Vintage 90 has all the grunt of the original and perhaps a bit more clarity in the attack. I've since ordered a matching neck pickup even though the existing pickup (not an original Gibson pickup, probably a Seymour Duncan) is functional. Thanks for making a fantastic product at a very reasonable price!

I’d been through a number of sets of P90s in my Tele before finding these. They are just the right amount of brightness and grit I’ve been searching for.

Cannot recommend them enough!
