Our Vintage 90 set uses Alnico 2 magnets for great sustain and unrivalled clarity. Played clean, they deliver authentic single coil tones but with more girth and body than a Strat or tele pickup can deliver. Crank up the gain for a thick yet clear and articulate distortion tone.
Vintage correct CAB covers now on all models.

I have a telecaster armed with a P90 which is great. I wanted something interesting and equivalent so stuck a Tonerider into a 1963 Futurama which was missing its original pups. Punchy, even and the right amount of grit. Early days but the right choice 🙂
The original '60's bridge P90 in my Melody Maker recently went microphonic and needing a replacement I immediately thought Tonerider as I have a set of Vintage Plus pickups in my Tele and absolutely love them. As expected, the Vintage 90 has all the grunt of the original and perhaps a bit more clarity in the attack. I've since ordered a matching neck pickup even though the existing pickup (not an original Gibson pickup, probably a Seymour Duncan) is functional. Thanks for making a fantastic product at a very reasonable price!
I’d been through a number of sets of P90s in my Tele before finding these. They are just the right amount of brightness and grit I’ve been searching for.
Cannot recommend them enough!
Ho preso questo pick up abbinato ad un hot p90 per una Les Paul collegati con wiring anni '50 e posso garantire che non avrei potuto desiderare pick up migliore. Suono potente e caldo, estremamente versatile e ottimo sia sui puliti che sui suoni distorti con gain bello alto, ci si possono suonare tranquillamente dai Black Sabbath agli Allman Brothers Band. Tonerider è ormai una garanzia per me.
